Teachers campaign ramps up to help family of Paul Bally

Thank you to everyone who has rallied to help the teachers, staff, students, and family after the sudden death of Lake Trail teacher Paul Bally earlier this week. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

This will be an especially difficult time for Paul’s wife Evelyn and 2 children. In an effort to help support them, the CDTA has set up a trust account at the Coastal Community Credit Union. Anyone can walk into any Coastal Credit Union branch and ask to donate money to the Paul Bally Family Trust Account. The account will be active around midday on Friday Dec 19. Comox District Teachers Association President Nick Moore….

Moore says Bally had a special connection with his students at Lake Trail School.

People can also email Nick Moore at [email protected] and he will arrange a time to pick up or drop off donations if people can’t make it into the bank. This, in conjunction with other support that is being set up from people all over the Comox Valley will help the family through this difficult time.
