COURTENAY, B.C- Power is out in a large area in the north end of the Comox Valley.
According to the BC Hydro website, the power system around Black Creek is currently down. The outage extends east of Highway 19, west of Eagles Drive, north of Howard Road, and south of Miracle Beach.
The cause of the outage is currently under investigation, and 549 customers have been affected.
