CUMBERLAND, B.C- The list of appointments for Cumberland’s village council has been released.
In the agenda for Monday’s meeting of village council, the following councillors have been recommended for the following positions, from 2018 to 2019.
Acting Mayor
November 2018 to January 2019: Councillor Jesse Ketler
February to April 2019: Councillor Vickey Brown
May to July 2019: Councillor Sean Sullivan
August to October 2019: Councillor Gywn Sproule
Comox Valley Regional District, for one year, until a successor appointment
-Councillor Ketler, Director and primary representative for the board of directors as well as the Comox Valley Sports Centre Commission.
-Councillor Sproule, Alternate Director, and primary representative on both the Comox Strathcona Waste Management Board and the Comox Strathcona Regional Hospital District Board.
Mayor Baird is listed as the liaison for the CVRD’s South Sewer Select Committee, with Councillor Brown as an alternate.
Ketler is placed on the CVRD’s Integrated Regional Transportation Select Committee as a liaison, with Brown as an alternate.
