If you’re looking for a safe and eco-friendly way to get rid of your Christmas tree, the Courtenay Fire Department has the answer.
It will be hosting its annual Christmas Tree Chipping event on January 4th and 5th.
While making sure the trees are destroyed safely, all proceeds from the chipping will head towards local charities in the Comox Valley.
If you want to donate your tree to the cause crews will be at the Courtenay Fire Hall and the Crown Isle Thrifty Foods from 10:00am to 4:00pm on both days.
