New Year’s Day Polar Bear Swim returning to Saratoga Beach

Now’s your chance to start 2020 with a refreshing swim in the Pacific.
The New Year’s Day Polar Bear Swim is returning for another year at Saratoga Beach. Registration will open at 11:00 am on Jan. 1st, with the swim kicking off at noon sharp.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and carpool, as parking is limited.
Trophies for best male costume, best female costume, and best group costume will be awarded.
Chili and warm beverages will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Black Creek Community Association. The Oyster River Volunteer Fire Rescue Association and the Campbell River Legion Pipe Band will also be on-site.
