With the family day long weekend here, Courtenay Recreation wants to make sure everyone enjoys activities for free.
Free family fun is planned all day Monday with activities happening across the Comox Valley.
Some of those activities will be happening at both The LINC Youth Centre and The Lewis Centre including:
The LINC Youth Centre:
- Ping pong, air hockey, Foosball, pool tables, concession, outdoor basketball, scootering, karaoke and skateboarding.
The Lewis Centre:
- Free family activities and entertainment all-day
- Luke the Kangaroo will perform at 11:00am; Come watch this hoppy, fun-lovin’ musical mayhem that brings people together through laughter, music and games!
- Family Archery in the Lewis Centre Gym from 10:00am until 12:00pm
Other activities for the whole family include an obstacle course, Toddler Zone, and the Craft Zone. Tweens and teens will also enjoy hanging out in the Games Room and trying out some active video games, board games and even painting fingernails.
