The Comox Valley Child Development Association (CVCDA) is once again holding an online 50/50 raffle that will contribute to their 46th Children’s Telethon broadcast on Nov. 7.
50/50 tickets are on sale now and will help fund CVCDA programs and services.
The association’s main fundraising goal this year is to replace the Therapy Building
“It’s one of our oldest buildings and the most historic,” said Brooklyn Galloway, CVCDA marketing director. “It’s basically in great need of an update. We’re going to start the initial planning stages with some of our funds this year. This will be years away. It will save our organization a lot of costs from updates. Maintaining those buildings can be very expensive, and we are constantly trying to do that to make it a little nicer for all of our families that come to that location.”
Raffle tickets are $5 each and people can win up to $10,000 or half the total ticket sales.
The telethon will take place from 12 pm to 8 pm.
Ticket sales will finish at 6 pm and auction bidding will conclude at 7 pm.
