CVRD announced additional nature programs

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is giving people more chances to explore parks in the area with additional nature programs.

The CVRD has teamed up with Family Trails and Building Connections for Valley Families to organize self-directed outings.

Each event is at 10 am and the dates and locations are as follows:

Jan. 24/22 Lazo Wildlife Park
Jan. 31/22 Nymph Falls Park
Feb. 14/22 Bracken Park
Feb. 28/22 Royston Seaside Trail
Mar. 7/22 Driftwood Park
Mar. 14/22 Tsolum Spirit Park
Apr. 3/22 One Spot Trail (Meet at Dove Creek Hall)
Apr. 11/22 Nymph Falls Park
Apr. 25/22 Tsolum River Walk (Meet in the Curling Club Parking Lot)
May 2/22 Seal Bay Nature Park
May 9/22 Headquarters Townsite Park
May 16/22 Foden Park
May 30/22 Goose Spit Park

The CVRD is also holding guided naturalist walks once a month until May.

The events are free, but pets are not allowed.
