The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) has kicked off its financial planning process for 2022-2026.
Regional district committees and commissions will look over service budgets during the next seven weeks and provide input.
A yearly budget bylaw will be presented to the CVRD board for first, second, and third readings on March 29.
The bylaw will be adopted by March 31.
“Budget presentations will last until March 15, and we encourage questions, comments and feedback on the individual financial plans for all our services,” explains Kevin Douville, CVRD Manager of Financial Planning. “Feedback can be provided before 4:30 pm on March 16.”

The CVRD updates a five-year financial plan annually.
