The right side southbound lane is closed because of a vehicle incident on Highway 19.
According to DriveBC, the incident is about 25 kilometres north of Parksville between Cook Creek Road and the Cochrane Road overpass.
DriveBC says to watch out for delays and traffic control crews.
Oceanside RCMP says there may have been a single-vehicle crash that, with changing weather conditions, led to a chain reaction.
