A chance to hear from BC Ferries CEO Mike Corrigan was a top agenda item for Islands Trustees during a 3 day council meeting this week.
Islands Trust Chair Peter Luckham says they touched on a recent Trust effort to convince the province to invest more to reduce fares, but the main thrust was around other ferry issues.
BC Ferries has been collecting public input on changes to the Southern Gulf Islands route ahead of the delivery of a new ship.
They’re going to hold open houses later this summer, but they haven’t set the dates yet.
