Rain over parts of the East Island is expected to intensify this afternoon and into tonight.
That’s from Environment and Climate Change Canada, who have issued a rainfall warning between Fanny Bay and Qualicum Beach.
They add a pacific frontal system will bring anywhere between 40 and 50 mm of rain to the area in heavy downpours.
You are asked to monitor the situation as heavy rains can cause flash floods, localized flooding and water pooling on roads.
