You can see renowned playwrights come to life in an upcoming musical.
Something Rotten! is a musical comedy that dives into the world of theatre, looking at the challenges and process many playwrights faced in the Renaissance.
According to director and producer Lisa Williams, this will be the annual school district musical.
“The students have been dancing, singing and rehearsing for months, and we can’t wait to share this silliness with our community,” said Williams.
SD 71 says the students have embraced the challenge of playing the characters, including William Shakespeare and Nigel Bottom.
They hope to keep audiences entertained from beginning to end.
The show will take place at Highland Secondary from March 5 to 9, starting at 7:00 pm.
