Easter events taking place in Valley this weekend

With Easter weekend on the way, here are some events you can check out with the family in the Comox Valley.

For Courtenay, the Easter Promenade returns at the Lewis Park stage, where you can take part in the easter egg hunt, easter crafts, games, and unstructured play.

Along with those activities, you can meet the Easter Bunny, who will hand out mini-chocolate eggs and pose for photos.

The city says it’s $8 per family if registering in advance, and $10 for drop-ins.

The event will run on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In Comox’s Filberg park, their Easter event will have bunny trail maps, outdoor games, tents, crafts, and hotdogs for families from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Over at Cumberland, they will hold the Hop & Seek spring celebration. It will have two scavenger hunts, snacks, and a live concert for kids with Luke the Kangaroo.

That event will run on March 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
