Expect some lane closures while driving on Highway 19 southbound, with construction taking place on Tuesday.
According to project administrator Tara Parker with ARC Asphalt Recycling Inc., a construction notice is issued for hot-in-place recycling of asphalt happening on the highway through the Courtenay area, including Comox Valley Parkway.
Because of the work, Parker says you can expect construction zone speed limits, lane closures, and traffic control personnel in the area.
They advise you to be cautious while driving.

The work will run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 7.
