Comox Valley Newcomers’ Club – Guest Speaker and Social Event

The Comox Valley Newcomers’ Club invites women who are new to our community to join our meeting on Monday, February 13 at the Florence Filberg Centre. Our social group’s monthly meetings, as well as our daily activities, bring women together to develop friendships, discover shared interests, and explore the Comox Valley.Our guest speaker will be Susan Auchterlonie, Executive Director of the Comox Valley Community Foundation. Susan will talk about the Foundation and its role in our community as well as the many charitable and non-profit organizations it supports. Susan was born and raised in Cumberland and, after working in post-secondary education in Alberta and BC, she returned home in 2005 to raise her own family.
